This is a very belated birthday gift for the lovely ~chibipandora! o_o;; Her birthday was really August 13th (I think... correct me if I'm wrong)... but... I never got around to doing a picture then. <<; Oh well, better late than never, I guess. ^^ I hope you like this, Chibi! Happy late birthday!

Anyway... for those of you not familiar with the character, it's ~chibipandora's muse-type-person, Aphotic, more commonly referred to as Mr. Purple Hair Man. Because. Yeah. His hair is purple, obviously. Which is nifty, don't you think? I do, at least.

Some pictures kind of paint themselves, once you're in the right mood for them. This was one of those pictures. I think it took at a maximum four hours from start to finish.. which is VERY fast for being me. Granted, I wasn't working at a very big resolution, but till. o_O And with all that I still like it. Yes, before any of you ask... I looked at a reference photo to figure some things about the face out. But really, I and painting guys... Most of the time they end up way too girly and that annoys me. A lot. No, I didn't trace anything from the photograph.. I just had it on the side of the canvas and glanced at it now and then.

I also listened to the oddest music while painting... but you don't need to know that. I don't know why I even mentioned it in the first place. Digressions, digressions.

Software used OpenCanvas 4.03 Plus (I need to upgrade to 4.06.. xD But I keep forgetting.)
Time well spent As stated above, around four hours.
