Self portrait painted while I was looking at myself in a small handheld mirror.

I usually have photographic references for my portraits, so this was an interesting change. I think it turned out better than my self-portraits usually do, though I have no definite theory yet as to why.

Now watch it or I might start flooding this gallery with portraits. :giggle: It's been known to happen in the past.

All digital work painted in openCanvas 4 Plus.

At the moment my hair is dark red, although it's naturally a sort of mousy-brown color. I'm dying it purple in a month or so though.

Oh, purple? What kind of purple are we talking here?
XD I like to play with the thought of dying my hair but I really wouldn't do it. I like the colour I have, and besides anything crazy is bound to clash with at least one part of my wardrobe. xD

Sort of a deep purple; I had it in once before and it made my hair look darker brown, only with this awesome purple shine when light hit it <3

Weird hair colors are fun. I have no fashion sense to begin with, so I can do whatever crazy thing I want with my hair and it doesn't matter in the least :p

You use OC quite well, the colors are soft and comforting, and your portrait looks nice. Her (your?) hair has uber-volume though, it looks solid.
