My second piece for the 14 Songs Project, which, originally, wasn't intended to be for the project at all. It's actually a remake of one of my first CG pictures from 2003, featuring my original character Sevanne.

She wasn't a pirate in the first picture, but while I was drawing this the idea just seemed to fit her and some very convenient plot holes in her story. So, a pirate she is. And because this new discovery made the picture new enough to me, it fit right into the project. (:

If anyone's interested in seeing the picture from 2003 as well, I might upload it to scraps just for fun and educational purposes. XD Just let me know if you want to see it.

I like the pose and the variation of color in the parrot. I do think that the belly is a little short or that the bellybutton and abdominal muscles are too high up. Lovely hands and feet.

I tried to make it look like she was sort of bending forward, thus producing that effect. (:
And thank you! The parrot was kind of a last-minute addition, but it turned out nicely anyway!
